Contestant #1 for Miss Northern Navajo. Autumn Mike

Contestant #1 for Miss Northern Navajo. – Autumn Mike.
Autumn is 18 years old and is from Fruitland, NM. She is Tódích’íí’nii, born for Táchii’nii. Her Maternal Granfather is Bit’ahnii and her Paternal Grandfather is Naakaii Diné’é. She is a graduate of Kirtland Central High School, and is a current student at San Juan College in Farmington,NM where she is studying Physical Therapy. Her short term goals are to be a successful college student and her long term goals are to strive to become a Physical Therapist. Her platform is to raise awareness for Children’s Safety in multiple ways including the Amber Alert system, also to be a positive role model to young Navajo Women.

Contestant #2 for Miss Northern Navajo. Alexandria R. Holiday

Contestant #2 for Miss Northern Navajo. – Alexandria R. Holiday.
Alexandria is 18 years old and is from Tablemesa, NM. She is Naakaii Diné’é born for Bilagaana. Her Maternal Granfather is Tl’ááshchí’í and her Paternal Grandfather is Bilagaana. She is a previous graduatebof Shiprock High School and is a 2nd year student at Fort Lewis College, where she is studying Psychology & Theater. Her short term goals are to continue pursuing a double major and her long term goal is to become a child psychologist and work at IHS. Her platform is to teach all those willing to learn our Diné way of life, she plans to do so with the opportunity that is given when holding a title.

Contestant #1 for Miss Northern Navajo Teen. – Kailiah K. Lee.
Kailiah is 17 years old and is from Shiprock, NM. She is Tódích’íi’nii, born for Oozei Táchiinii. Her Maternal Granfather is Kinlicíi’nii and her Paternal Grandfather is Noodáí Diné’é. She is a Junior at Kirtland Central High School, her short term goals are to graduate High School and her long term goals are to earn her Masters and become an Orthopedic Doctor. Her platform is to teach the youth the importance of the Navajo Culture.

Contestant #2 for Miss Northern Navajo Teen. – Ariana Roselyn Young.
Ariana is 17 years old and is from Teec Nos Pos, Az. She is Bit’ahnii, born for Honágháahnii. Her Maternal Granfather is Kinlichíi’nii and her Paternal Grandfather is Táchii’nii. She is a Senior at Farmington High School, her short term goals are to graduate High School and her long term goals are to continue her education and strive to become fluent in the Diné Bizaad. Her platform is to teach self awareness through ké to prevent larger issues.

Contestant #3 for Miss Northern Navajo Teen. – Noellani Katherine Buck.
Noellani is 17 years old and is from Shiprock, NM. She is Tsé Nahabilnii, born for Haitian. Her Maternal Granfather is Oozei Tach’iinii and her Paternal Grandfather is Haitian. She is a Senior at Shiprock High School, her short term goals are to graduate High School and her long term goals are to continue her education at Georgetown University or Mississippi University of Law. Her platform is to raise awareness and stand against Youth & Elder abuse.
